Club Penguin Updates - Thursday 31st July 2014

Hey guys, Jack here.

Before I start, I'd like to say something important. I am starting to grow away from Club Penguin now, so I will only be keeping up to date on updates, and possibly daily party items. Secondly, I will not be posting anything next week as I am on holiday/vacation. I start on Friday 1st August to Saturday 9th August.

That being said, there are some epic updates this week guys, so let's get started!

Let's start off with the awesome mini-event! The event is called 'Turbo Race 3000' and it's pretty cool for a mini-event!

If you waddle over to the right hand side, you can get yourselves 2 free items! They are called the 'Go-Karter Helmet' and the 'Go-Karter Suit'! Now, as you probably guessed the Go-Karter Helmet is for members AND non-members, while the Go-Karter Suit is unfortunately members only! Sorry guys!

I equipped my Go-Karter Suit and started racing! When you are racing, you aren't racing anyone, it's just a 3 lap course. It isn't even timed, so there is no need to rush! To start your trial, just go to the starting line, and wait for the countdown to get to 'GO!'. And then you can... well go!

To complete a lap, you must go past all of the lights around the course, so that the game knows you aren't cheating! These lights also change colour when you are doing laps 2 and 3!

You can see at the top of your screen which lap you are on too!

When you have done all 3 laps, you can make yourself forward to the results podium!

I think this is a great mini-event!

The Club Penguin Times Issue #458 was also released today!

The main headline is: Go-Kart Races For Everyone!

The second headline talks about how a 'success' the Music Jam was this year. In my opinion it was more of a failure than a success, but you know... each to their own!

Finally, you can see some Upcoming Events for Next Thursday. I guess you could call this section my update post next week, as I won't be here, because I'll be on holiday/vacation!

There isn't a new EPF message yet, but there will more than likely be one released sometime in the week.

MP3000 Bling Edition and Urban Diva Outfit available at the Music Jam!

Today the last of the Music Jam items were released! They are the 'MP3000 Bling Edition' and the 'Urban Diva Outfit'!

Penguin of the Week - Wittle P

It's Friday, which means it's time for a new Penguin of The Week! The special penguin this week is Wittle P! Here is why she was chosen!

Let's give a BIG round of applause to this week's winner,Wittle P! What makes this penguin unique, is her desire to put others before herself. You can always find her helping someone find their way around the island. She's extremely hard working, and takes her roles as a Secret Agent and Tour Guide very seriously. Well done for being so FAB! :)

Wittle P was rewarded with 10,000 coins and a Penguin of the Week background! Remember, you can nominate any penguin you see who deserves to be next week's penguin of the week!

Zendaya Performing at the Music Jam!

Starting today until July 29th, you can see the last special guest sing. It's Zendaya! She plays her new hit single: Replay!

Just like everyone else, if you click Zendaya's penguin while she is performing, you can pick up her free background! Like the others, this item is for members AND non-members! But get your background fast, as it is now only available for 4 more days, so be quick!

The Girl Next Door Guitar and Here Comes Treble available at the Music Jam!

If you log onto CP today, you can get some new Music Jam items! They are called: 'The Girl Next Door Guitar' and the 'Here Comes Treble' body item!

Members AND non-members can pick up themselves The Girl Next Door Guitar, but the Here Comes Treble is only available for members! Sorry!

Club Penguin Updates - Thursday July 24th 2014

Hey guys, Jack here!

Today Club Penguin was updated! There were a few moderate updates, including some new Music Jam items, that I will talk about in another post! But anyway, let's get started!

The Club Penguin Times issue #457 was released!

The main headline is: How To Write a Hit

The second headline is an interview with Zendaya. On the second page, there is also an interview with Cole Plante.

Finally, there are some upcoming events.

They give us a hint about a mini party at the end of the month, and also maybe a hint of something to do with the Disney movie: Frozen. Could there be a Frozen Party next month? Only time shall tell!

Next, there is a new pin. The pin is the Cruise Ship Pin, that can be located at the Cove.

Finally, G sent us an EPF message. It gives another hint about a mini party at the end of the month!

UK Magazine Sneak Peak - Issue #33

I just grabbed the latest copy of the UK Club Penguin Magazine, hot off the press! And you know me, I always like to give you guys an EXCLUSIVE inside look into the mag before it hits the shelves. 

 

This month it's all about SUMMER HOLIDAAAAAAAAYS! There are some cool features, such as mind-blogging camping holiday puzzles to solve, two EPIC posters, as well as a Beard Battle between Rookie and Sensei - that must be one hairy tale ;)

 

Let's not forget Cadence's Fashion Tips, which is one of my fave sections. I felt very inspired today and decided that my blue puffle deserved a little makeover... into a MERMAID! What do you think? She seems very happy with her new look, don't you think? 

To get your hands on the new issue of the UK mag, it's available to purchase from Thursday, July 24th! This month's issue also comes with a code for a 1 month membership! Sabrina Carpenter Performing at the Music Jam!

When going to the Main Stage today you can see Sabrina Carpenter perform along with everyone else! She sings her new hit single: You Can't Blame A Girl For Trying.

If you click on her penguin while she is performing you can get her giveaway! Now like everyone else's this background is for members AND non-members! So no need to worry (I think I have started a song there).

Get in the Mix with Chatta!

Chattabox has made a post about a Music Jam party she is holding. The details can be seen below.

This week I’ve been mixing it up at the Music Jam party! How much fun is the Sound Studio?! We definitely have a few penguin DJ’s in the making. This week I’m holding a DJ Party (omg!) on board the Music Jam Cruise ship – AMAZING! I want you all to come along, play your mixes and have a good dance! Make sure you wear your ultimate Music Jam outfit and bring along your puffles – they have such rockin’ dance moves.

Lets meet at the buffet on the Music Jam cruise on the Down Under server on Thursday 22nd July. Here are the times:

• 4pm East Australian Standard Time
• 6pm New Zealand Standard Time
• 11pm Penguin Standard Time on Wednesday 21st July for everyone over in the US and Canada
• 7am on Thursday 22nd July for my pals in the UK.

Seems fun!

Disney Channel Game On - Music Jam 2014

Club Penguin uploaded a video today on their YouTube channel. It is the Music Jam 2014 Disney Channel Game On video.

Glitter Microphone and Drum Roll available at the Music Jam!

Hey guys, Jack here!

Today the Glitter Microphone and the Drum Roll puffle hat was released at the Music Jam.

The Glitter Microphone is for non-members, while the Drum Roll puffle hat is for members only. Members can collect up to 40 drum roll hats, similar to being members can adopt up to 40 puffles. So if you have 40 puffles, collect 40 hats, just like I did (for the record I do not have 40 puffles).

Cole Plante - Gotta Have a Wingman Remix

Today Polo Field posted a video on the Club Penguin Blog. The video was Cole Plante's Music Video of his remix of Gotta Have a Wingman.

In my opinion, the music video seems like countless optical illusions, but hell does it have a lot of puffles (including the Adopt a Puffle reference at the end).
